Overview

Courier Drivers collect and deliver parcels, documents, and packages across assigned routes, ensuring timely and secure delivery while maintaining accurate records and providing proof of delivery documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1Load vehicle with parcels according to delivery route sequence
  • 2Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and route optimization
  • 3Deliver packages to residential and business addresses
  • 4Obtain signatures and proof of delivery (POD) documentation
  • 5Scan parcels at collection and delivery points
  • 6Handle COD (cash on delivery) collections and reconciliation
  • 7Collect parcels from businesses and drop-off points
  • 8Manage attempted delivery cards and notifications
  • 9Communicate delivery exceptions to operations team
  • 10Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and fuel logs
  • 11Meet daily delivery targets and time window commitments
  • 12Provide excellent customer service during interactions
Requirements

Education

Grade 10/11 minimum

Experience

1-2 years professional driving experience
