SalesPro Hub can notify your team through multiple channels when important events happen. This guide covers how to configure each notification type.

Accessing Notification Settings

  1. Log in as an admin user.
  2. Go to Settings > Notifications.

All notification settings are per-organisation. They apply to all users in your tenant.

In-App Notifications

In-app notifications are always enabled and cannot be turned off. They appear in the notification bell in the top navigation bar.

To enable:

  1. Toggle Order Email Notifications on.

    • Processing
    • Delivered
    • Cancelled

The email includes:

  • Order number and status
  • Customer name and details
  • Item list with quantities and prices
  • Order total
  • Link to view the order in SalesPro Hub

Stock Alert Emails

Send email alerts when product stock levels reach critical levels.

To enable:

  1. Toggle Stock Alert Emails on.
  2. Select which events trigger emails:
    • Low stock — Stock drops below the product's configured threshold
    • Out of stock — Stock reaches zero

The email includes:

  • Product name and SKU
  • Current stock quantity
  • Low stock threshold
  • Whether the product is completely out of stock

Who Receives Emails

Emails are sent to all users with the admin or manager role in your organisation. Individual users cannot opt out — this is an organisation-level setting.

Mobile Push Notifications

Send push notifications to admin and manager mobile devices when orders are placed.

To enable:

  1. Toggle Mobile Push Notifications on.

Requirements:

  • Users must have the SalesPro Hub mobile app installed.
  • Users must be logged into the app (this registers their device for push notifications).

Push notifications include:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Order total
  • Tap to open the order in the mobile app

WhatsApp Alerts

Send WhatsApp messages when key order events happen. Useful for managers who want instant alerts on their phone.

To enable:

  1. Toggle WhatsApp Order Alerts on.
  2. Enter the recipient phone number in international format without the + sign.
    • Example: 27831234567 for a South African mobile number.

Events that trigger WhatsApp alerts:

  • Order submitted
  • Order delivered
  • Order cancelled

Requirements:

  • Your organisation must have WhatsApp integration configured (Settings > WhatsApp).
  • The WhatsApp Business API must be active.

The message includes:

  • Order number and event (submitted/delivered/cancelled)
  • Customer name
  • Order total

How Settings Are Stored

Notification settings are stored at the organisation level. When you save settings, they apply to all users immediately. There is no per-user notification preference — all admins and managers receive the same notifications.
